The company
LUSVARDI was founded with the goal to obtain a distinctive wine from the vineyards the Family owned for several decades ( 3,5 hectars (over 8.5 acres) of Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco Grasparossa).
My husband Andrea and I are excited and proud to introduce the results of our efforts, a wine that we interpreted and infused to represent the unique characteristics of our region and our grapes. We proudly select only indigenous grapes: Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco Grasparossa, carriers of great flavor appeal due to their native evolution, which produces wines that are elegant and stylish.
Our philosophy
FOLLOW ME/SEGUIMI is our vision, our philosophy: follow the natural “chaos” that evolution has generated in our grapes and our terroir and transform it in into a wine that is a natural and intriguing both in flavor and in expression of our land, without genetic modifications or forced production.
In order to solidify our committment to our philosopy, in 2010 we began the 3-year process of converting our vineyard, “Podere il Serraglio,” to be an organic production, free of any chemicals and ever mindful of our environment and natural resources.
Beginning with the 2014 harvest, all Lusvardi wines are certified organic by ICEA Certification Institute
Wines
Lusvardi Brut
Red ruby colour with purplish nuance, red fruits aroma, especially cherry, redcurrant, raspberry, with deep and fresh floreal flavourings.
Lusvardi Rosé
Brilliant crystal clear rose with a thin and persistent perlage wide intense perfume; notes of barries and green apple meld with hints of wisteria and dogrose.
Senzafondo
Hints of red fruits and cherrie, well accompained by floreal notes of violet fresh and lively with a medium body.
